hail, pomona, hail.  

pomona, a school that suffers from collective ivy envy.  sad, when you think of it.  all these lost children running around saying how they "turned down harvard" and "didn't even consider yale."

 

see.  ivy envy.  we've even gone as far as encouraging to grow on buildings.  like ivy grows in southern california.  who are we kidding?

no talk of pomona college would be complete without mention of claremont.  located in lovely, smog infested southern california, claremont practically defines what can one really say about claremont.  i mean, gosh, it's such an amazing place.  here, for those interested, are some tidbits about claremont

• home of snoop doggy dog (and you thought he was from the hood)
• home of the leader of the nazi youth movement in the US
• dirtiest air in america (personal opinion)
• tourist appeal:  zilch, nada, absolutely none
